In 1999 Louisa received her BA in Art from the University of Southern Maine and by the fall of 2000 she had finished all the required pre med classes to begin her formal training at the American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine (ACTCM). In 2005 she graduated from ACTCM and left San Francisco. In 2009 she moved to Cave Junction, OR and began practicing there until 2015 when she started practicing exclusively at the Tiburon spa in CA. Louisa missed Oregon and realized that she wanted to work near the healing hot spring water of Ashland Oregon. Louisa has learned so much from so many amazing acupuncturists and healers that It is her passion to share these ancient healing art forms with her patients. It is with honor and respect for her teachers and the sincere desire to relieve suffering and to promote optimal health that she strives to treat each patient with understanding, compassion, and skill to enable them to transform into a healthier being and accomplish goals. Louisa’s own life was saved by Traditional Chinese Medicine and she feels so fortunate to have thrived to share her life with others.
